The Lansdowne Pub

📍 Address: 9 Lansdowne St, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

We recently went here for the first time and I wish there was a 3.5 star rating but here goes. * The place is really cool inside. Even for a faux Irish pub, they did a really nice job and the place is huge but cool * The food, as mentioned in previous posts is also really good for pub food. Small, but good selection and good selection of brews. You can't get Carlsberg on tap just anywhere! * Here's where the ding comes in. We ate at the bar and most of the staff need to re-think whether they want to work in a busy place. I know this was a pre-Sox crowd and people can be tough to serve but we can live without the attitudes people! Overall worth the take; good food, drinks and environment. Your people are your best asset though management!!

Bukowski Tavern

📍 Address: 1281 Cambridge St, Cambridge

Stars: (3)

I really like the redone Bukowski's. I do miss the old atmosphere but now it feels like an entirely new restaurant. I love that the bartenders offer samples of beer. They have a huge beer list, a little pricey but still very extensive. My friend and I ordered 2 burgers with fries and the "White Trash" cheese dip. The fries were great, lots of seasoning. The burger really hit the spot too; would have loved it if the bun was toasted though. The White Trash dip was perfectly spicy, I just wish a different type of chip was used, the ones they had were an odd texture. Overall, a tad pricey for the food, but I like the new place!

Exotic Thai

📍 Address: 11220 N Lamar Blvd, Ste 306, Austin

Stars: (3.5)

The fiance and I gave Exotic Thai a chance the other day. (In our book, you get two chances. Just in case you ever need to know that.) Our waiter kept playing with the flower arrangements and ignoring us, and the other waiter was very attentive and helpful. The disparity was obvious because there were only two occupied tables in the entire restaurant. The dumplings were good- chewy and crunchy, sweet and spicy. My curry was really greasy and not particularly tasty or spicy. Meh. The stone tables were mostly obnoxious because I felt like every time I put my glass back down on the table, it would shatter and/or make a huge crash. Chance #2 will decide it for me.

Via Tribunali

📍 Address: 36 SW 3rd St, Portland

Stars: (4)

Ive been here twice now and both times the pizzas amazing. Ceased salad was missing the anchovies, though. Great decor. For some reason it's never busy when we go there, which is just fine!

Capa Steakhouse & Bar

📍 Address: 10100 Dream Tree Blvd, Orlando

Stars: (4.5)

Went their for desserts and coffee on a Tuesday night at 8:30pm. About 10 other people on the patio to watch the fireworks. Much less crowded than so many other places on the WDW property. Churros, lemon-olive cake, and lava cake were all good, and I believe that they were $13 each. As rotund men, we did find the portion sizes of the desserts small. Our waistlines were thankful for that. Pretty decor. Friendly staff.

Wendy's

📍 Address: 330 Middlesex Ave., Medford

Stars: (1.5)

The worst Wendys i have ever been to. Ive been to this location several times and its the same story every time. The Service is super slow and total chaos in the kitchen. I waited so long the burger was cold. Soda machine ran out of everything except diet soda. Management needs to step up their game.
