Mike's Pastry

We wandered by this twice in our walk and thought we'd stop in. It's a bit hectic but we had no problem being served. They only take cash, so come prepared! We got a hazelnut cannoli, which was okay, the crust was really good, the filling almost perfect, except it really didn't taste like hazelnut! I also got a giant M&M cookie that was perfect, tons of candy throughout, very moist and delicious. Overall, we liked it and would go back to try the multitude of other flavors.

Way more delicious and speedy than healthy food has any business being. I'll definitely be back.

After reading reviews, I chose this establishment looking forward to some tasty Chinese food. Unfortunately, this does not meet the mark. 1. After spelling my name for my to-go order, I arrived after the hour (!) I was told to wait. My order could not be found for 10 minutes. After replacing my order, my original order was found. 2. After getting home we discovered that the Honey Prawns were just that. Apparently, there is available rice sides to order, but we were not told this and it is not apparent on the menu. 3. The Brisket Fried Rice was subpar. There was way too much liquid smoke used and it overtakes the other flavors of the rice. 4. These have to have been the smallest wontons I have seen, and also flavorless. 5. The entire order was cold, maybe that plays in to what is mentioned above. I understand that this is a new restaurant, and I want to support innovative spaces like this. Unfortunately, at this price point, I expect more.

I'm making the transition to a vegan, so I do remember what meat tastes like. The texture reminded me of a giant chicken mcnugget. I just wished that there was more seasoning in and on the chicken and coating. It was bland to me. I'll have to bring garlic powder, salt, pepper, and hot sauce next time. I wish the coating was thicker so there would be more of a crunch. This was more like the original KFC coating vs the extra crispy. The vegan ranch dressing needed more herbs. Tasted like regular vegan mayo. The side salad was tiny for almost 4 dollars. The quantity was like picking up the lettuce with just your fingertips. I will try the No Frick'n Chick'n again. I always give places 3 tries.

I strongly recommend this place especially they updated their menu recently. MUST try the kong-fu noodle, you can see the amazing kong-fu noodle show if you go there at the right time, call them before. I tried the duck noodle and beef noodle today. The duck is crispy and fresh and the beef is juicy. I also tried the Xiao Long Bao today, it's handmade for sure, better than the dragon well. Also the place is quiet and elegant. If you like Chinese food, check this place out, it won't let you down.

Sushi lunch buffet for $13?! It's definitely worth the drive from Seattle! You don't know sushi until you have their sashimi. You don't know MELT IN YOUR MOUTH SUSHI until you try their sashimi. AND they have a wide variety of rolls and meats to grill!? ...Why...why would you not come here?
