Croissant Gourmet

📍 Address: 120 E Morse Blvd, Winter Park

Service is horrible! I ordered half a baguette for breakfast which came cut in 20 small pieces. When I told the waitress politely that this is not what I ordered and that I couldn't have breakfast the way it had been served to me I was told that it's the way it came. I had to insist in order to get what I precisely ordered. After reluctantly accepting to give me half a baguette, not cut, I was given no butter and had to pay $1.10 extra for the jam. Being French, I am used to the snobby attitude of some French businesses but this one tops the list!!!! The next morning, we tried Les Petits Pleasures in College Park, so much better in terms of food as well as service. I hope that my review will serve the staff at Croissant Gourmet for them to improve.

Hot Chicken Takeover

📍 Address: 59 Spruce St, Columbus

I'm a fan. I've been 4 times and have spaced my visits out to make sure that I wasn't going just based off the hype surrounding this gem. I'm okay with the prices because I just don't see how they could source food and deliver it for much less unless they wanted to go out of business. The food was great. I got a hot and a holy boneless breast. The mac-n-cheese was outstanding, the cole slaw was plenty good enough. The sweet tea and ranch dressing were nice additions, too. I can't say much more than go and try it for yourself. I've ranged from quite satisfied to extremely impressed on each of my 4 visits. There will certainly be a 5th!!

Hyatt Regency - Austin

📍 Address: 208 Barton Springs Rd, Austin

Nice hotel and rooms. But when you are on vacation you want to sit by your pool, we stayed for five days and only 2 days was able to use our pool. We paid more to stay there because they had a nice pool and view of the river. Very disappointed

Tew-Mac Tavern

📍 Address: 1880 Main St, Tewksbury

What a nice surprise we found at the Tew Mac Tavern in Tewksbury. Some friends recommended we go, so this weekend we decided to try it out. It was great! Very comfortable with a nice stone fireplace. The whole building has a nice little ambiance to it. We had a drink at the bar first and the bartender was fast and knowledgable. We ended up with a nice table by the window overlooking the golf course. The food was fantastic and , it came out hot and cooked perfectly. That was the best part but we were really surpised how affordable it is. Lastly, whoever is training the staff is doing a great job. They are fast, efficient and friendly. We will definatly be back to Tew Mac Tavern

Santa Fe Cattle Co.

📍 Address: 1203 Sunrise Plaza Dr., Clermont

We went for lunch yesterday. It got off to a slow start because the waitress was there alone and a hostess was helping her. We almost left. However we finally got seated. My husband ordered taco salad mostly lettuce and he did not really find it that good. My steak however was 10 dollars and it was really very good. The baked potato was perfect and I ate every bite. They forgot our bread so we ate it for dessert with wonderful cinnamon butter. That made my husband happy. All in all it was not very expensive and I think we got our moneys worth.

The Living Room

📍 Address: 101 Atlantic Ave, Boston

This was the 4th stop on the bar crawl and we strategically picked it so we'd have a place to eat. When we got there around 7:30p on a Saturday night it was pretty dead. All of the tables and couches in the bar area were reserved, but we were able to get a cozy place to sit when another group didn't show up. Their loss. We got comfy on the couches, ordered food and drinks and had a blast. Specifically I had the sliders, chicken taquitos, and calimari. Everything was good esp the taquitos! One tip, if you have a big group, def try to reserve the couches in the bar area. We got lucky but it would have sucked not to get a place to sit and eat.
