I've been going to Mocha Java for years as I've lived in Dedham my whole life, and I've always loved it. Recently they switched locations because of another coffee shop and their service and quality has not been changed by the move. :)

Kudos to Schaller's Stube for offering TWO vegan options made with Beyond Sausage! I was at a friend's bachelorette party on 6th street and was pretty hungry by the end of the night, but I was planning to go to bed hungry because I didn't expect a lot of late night options as a vegan in Texas. One of my friend's dragged me over to this food truck before heading back to our hotels so she could order food...but low and behold...I was shocked to see they had TWO vegan options listed on their menu. What??? They had a classic sausage with sauerkraut and one banh mi version...I went with the latter since it promised spice/heat. This was a super-good vegan sausage with excellent toppings/flavoring, including the heat I was looking for. So thankful this option exists, very delicious. :)

The only good thing about this place is that it opens 24/7. After a 6 hour flight here there weren't many place that were open so my only option that seemed safe was here. Super busy in there it seemed promising. The service was really fast, seated quick, taking orders, and explanation was very good. --Wonton Soup (1/5) - The soup smelled like old, seafood-y, and just smelled dirty. The wontons contained with just shrimp but it was too too bad. Bland as well. --Minced Pork and Green Bean In Chili Sauce (1/5) - This also had an odd smell. I had high hopes for the Szechuan kind of taste, but no. I felt like they drowned this in fish sauce and I did not taste any chili at all. The pork was super chewy and the green beans were over cooked. They were dry and it had that lined string texture just like how you eat the ends of an asparagus. Not suppose to be like that!! --Beef Brisket Chow Fun (1/5) - All the noodles were stuck together, like thick chunks! They weren't even cut like how chow funs are suppose to be! They added tendons that tasted old and the flavor was so bland in general. The only thing that was decent in this dish was the brisket. And we can't just pay for only the brisket in this dish now can we? We must have not ordered the right things or something but we didn't enjoy anything here like how everyone else seemed like they were enjoying. (I think they were mostly all drunk) Only reason I'm giving it a 2 star due to the people being attentive to us, fast service, and the guy converted US money truthfully. (You might find some places say that they will consider US money the same as the Canadian money.)

Zero stars for sending customers out into lightening and thunder. Shame on the manager. Then after then the SOB doesn't come get us after he says he will. HE invites others in. Leaving the the people he told to wait. Total failure! Update after a call to customer service. First we spoke to a sympathetic ear. Then we're transferred to another agent who told us that it was a fire issue. Unless the occupancy of this location is 20 then they need to find a new excuse for sending people into the rain and lightening . I suggest you find a new excuse, for this one is lame. Shame on Guy Fieri. Shame on customer service. And shame on the manager.

We live in German Village, I've tried a variety of Chinese restaurants in the area (excluding Bexley) I think this is the best Chinese around. Their hot mustard sauce is supreme. Service is always excellent and friendly.
