Sweet Hereafter

📍 Address: 3326 SE Belmont St, Portland

I go for the food but I leave due to the crowd. Great spot for vegan bar food (great selection!) altho i'd avoid it on Friday & Saturday nights unless you're into crowds and d-bags. Also, it's a bit generic looking (it looks like half the bars in Portland which makes sense because it's owned but the same collective as half the bars in Portland) but not offensive, so the atmosphere is very (as the Italians say) così così.

Excellent food and they made every effort to accommodate our large party. I was amazed at how attentive their staff was. The food was incredible, pulled pork I had was great and I absolutely loved the corn! Everyone in our party of 15 said their food was delicious

Cask & Larder

📍 Address: 565 W Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park

We were really excited to try this restaurant since we are big fans of the owner's first restaurant in Winter Park called the Ravenous Pig. We figured that the restaurant would be busy and as usual we sat at the bar. We were fine with that. We ordered the oyster sampler and it was delicious. For dinner I ordered the risotto and my boyfriend ordered the cobia. His portion was so small and he got just a few slivers of sweet potato. My risotto was very good, but the portion was small as well. When the food came out, the woman sitting next to my boyfriend, exclaimed, "Is that all you get?" Even the people around us were appalled by the portion size. We said something to the bartender, and she said that all the portions are measured out. Whatever that meant. Anyway, the food was very flavorful and tasty, but for as much as we spent on food, we left still hungry. With a plethora of restaurants in the area, we probably won't go back there.

So so so so so so so good. I can't describe it. I mean you have to try it for yourself. Polenta with Sausage, never had anything so tasty running melty eggs on top of everything. Breakfast board All American Meat & Cheese Fried Egg n Cheddar Biscuit choice of: sausage, house cured bacon. Bloody Mary. super good. Nothing to dislike here. Food hits the spot

49 Social

📍 Address: 49 Temple Pl, Boston

The WORST service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Do not go here!! I came with a party of 12 girls to celebrate my birthday 4/27/19. The waitress, Stella, paid us no attention, never checked on us, asked how our food was, or saw if we needed more drinks. When it was time to pay our bill it took a full HOUR to get our credit cards back, and they charged several people the wrong amount. I had to ask three different staff members if I could speak with a manager and no one came so I finally walked up to the bar and confronted him myself. The manager was unsympathetic and eventually even told me they'd made another mistake and we're supposed to charge us all another $6 each. The waitress, Stella, stood and listened with her arms crossed while the bartender tried to defend her and rolled her eyes at us. A poor excuse of a restaurant if you ask me! I hope people take my word of advice and STAY AWAY.
