Food was good and atmosphere was clean and cozy. Upscale casual dining. Pricy but delicious.

Cafe Agora Midtown

📍 Address: 92 Peachtree Pl NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4.5)

Food good. Some of it VERY good. Really. But, server seemed very frazzled. And, honest to God, there were like six people in the place -- how on earth does it manage during a lunch rush? But, I ordered my meal and an iced tea. She charged me for my meal and my iced tea, and then told me to help myself to the iced tea. When I pointed out that the iced tea dispenser was empty, she said, "yeah, we're out of iced tea." Really? Because you just charged me for it like 5 seconds ago. And, that was after over-charging me for my meal and having to give me cash back on my credit card purchase. And, also after I ordered a dessert (which you charged me for), and then when you came to my table, you told me that you were out of that dessert, and so subbed another one without my ok. In all, the bill got settled just fine, but what a hassle.

Tasty n Sons

📍 Address: 3808 N Williams Ave, Ste C, Hub Building, Portland

You must order the burmese pork stew!!! It is to DIE for. How do they get the pork so tender and the flavor is just out of this world...BUT I give it a 4/5 because of the ridiculous wait time, small-ish portions and ...again the wait time... but hey, Portlandia hit it on the spot when they said people in this city go crazy for a good brunch :P

Q2 China Bistro

📍 Address: 472 Polaris Pkwy, Westerville

Great lunch spot for quick and fresh Chinese. I like the hot pots and the stir fried veggies, which they always let me spice up with the curry sauce usually reserved for the meat dishes. It's owned by 2 sisters, so I like that, and the service is always great! I've been there only once in the eve and the experience just wasn't the same (I need a less-lunchy ambiance for dinner) so I will save Q2 for noon time.
