An awful experience is detailed at the link below; complete with their waiter flicking them off. http://everythingmidtownatlanta.blogspot.com/2013/02/pasta-da-pulcinella-review.html

First trip here 2 weeks ago and I've been back several times since! AMAZING SERVICE WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE REMARKABLE FOOD SOUTHERN COOKING & SERVICE AT ITS BEST! I usually order the Smoked Half Chicken with 3 sides. Fried Pickles, Texas Toast, & Bread Pudding.. It is less than 15.00 and keeps you full all night! I've never had bad service here & everyone is welcoming! They seem like a real family here! I will be returning here frequently! A+++++

Saltyard

📍 Address: 1820 Peachtree St NW, Ste 1, Atlanta

My husband and I were in Atlanta recently and our friends took us to Saltyard....what a treat! Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough for the amazing food and experience we had! The ambiance is simple and beautiful, and the staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They made sure that every detail of our experience was perfect. And then there was the food. OH. MY. GOD. THE FOOD. It was beyond perfection! My husband and I love to go out for good food in our hometown of San Diego and everywhere we travel, and Saltyard truly stands up with the best meals we've had! We stayed there for over two hours and the food and drinks kept coming the entire time. I think we were all rolling ourselves out by the end but every new dish was too good to pass up. We started with a cocktail from their signature drink list (I loved the Swift Kick in the Tito) and continued with bubbly and wine over the course of the meal. In a typical review, I would highlight the dishes that I thought were truly exceptional....but that's not possible this time as I can't name one that WASN'T exceptional. We feasted on deviled eggs, fresh oysters, charcuterie, brussels, burrata, street-style corn, smoked pork empanadas, duck confit, sliders with pimento cheese, gnocchi, and more! Our group even had to order seconds of a few items because we just needed a little more. After all of the amazing savory dishes, I was insistent that I couldn't possibly fit even another bite in my stomach.....and then dessert came out. Once I saw the plate of impossibly perfect sweet treats, I was prepared to fight my friends to ensure that I got a few more bites of heaven! Chef Nick and his team have truly created something magnificent in Saltyard. On our way out, we told him that we wanted to find a way to kidnap him and have him open a restaurant in San Diego so that we could enjoy his creations regularly. In the meantime, we will dream of our Saltyard experience.....and if you are in Atlanta, you MUST go to Saltyard and experience it yourself!!

I love this bar. Christian is a fabulous mixologist. The ambience is cool and relaxed with lovely outdoor seating. The food is good and hits the comfort spot. It has become my local.

Just a quick update. We continue to come here a couple times a month. Great service & great food. I tried something a little different today.... Grilled fish fillets. It came with a Sour Cream & Guacomole salad, rice, & warm flour tortillas. A HUGE portion & quite yummy. As usual, the fresh hot chips & salsa are on your table within a minute of sitting down. The sangria is super! Not too fruity. And you have GOTTA try their Chilaquiles! And ask for the Mole Sauce on your enchiladas next time..... a wonderful myriad of flavors in your mouth.
