Tucci's Southside Subs

📍 Address: 801 E William Cannon Dr, Ste 240, Austin

Stars: (4.5)

Is the place good? Yes. Would I go out of my way again to eat here? Probably not, mainly because of traffic on 35. We tried the spicy sausage and the chicken salad. We loaded the sausage up with bell peppers and hot peppers. The spicy herbs definitely delivered a small amount of kick but gave more flavor than spice. The marinara used is definitely good. The chicken salad was shredded chicken in their concoction of mayo and veggies. The bread is fresh. Getting everything toasted definitely made everything really hot so be careful. Service was friendly, patient and informative. Food was definitely tasty and different from your normal sub.

Chameleon Restaurant & Bar

📍 Address: 2000 NE 40th Ave, Portland

Stars: (4.5)

I wonder why this place isn't on people's radar since it has been around for like 10 years I hear. And the menu is always evolving. I felt bad that I didn't take my husband here since it's kind of romantic. But it was also fun for girl's night. I was there kind of early, but I think the outdoor patio is going to amazing during the summer. There is even an separate patio for those who want to bring their dogs everywhere. The food was yummy and I wish I could have stayed for a full dinner.

Dolce Italian

📍 Address: 3035 Peachtree Rd NE, Ste A201, Atlanta

Stars: (4)

It's a very posh place with really good food. We had the best martini I've had at Dolce. TheThe dining room is beautiful and the atmosphere was delightful (except for the loud after work party up front). Pre-dinner bread offering was really delicious, the butternut squash tortelli was something special. Manager came to table and was very polite and charming. Bar is too small.

TILT

📍 Address: 1355 NW Everett St, Ste 120, Portland

5 stars!!!! The DJ that's the Friday night's (3/2017) is freaking amazing and underrated. I could hear some young adults talking crap about how "90s" it was.... I'm 28 and I know better. He was playing 70s a d 80s disco/funk/hip hop and to make it better he was a REAL DJ and was playing VINYL. A+++++ in my book and seriously THE COOLEST DJ I've met in Oregon and Cali combined. I'll go see him spin any day!!!! As for TILT (sorry I took so long, he was THAT good!) Food...2000 stars!!!! Chicken burgers, fries and Groundhog burger was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!!! Everything was cooked perfectly. ! It wasn't piping hot like I prefer but still just wonderful and tasty! The vibe was kick back and relaxed, male bartender with beard and man bun was ON POINT and food was wwaayy worth it. We came on Friday at 7:30pm and had seating for 5 and a great time. Awesome drinks, food and ambiance! Glad we ate here instead of Deschutes brewery and saved some cash!

Ashley's Breakfast and Lunch

📍 Address: 916 Washington St, Braintree

Stars: (3.5)

Worst customer service ever experienced at a restaurant. If your order is incorrect and you ask for it to be corrected the waitresses become rude and agitated. Never again...

Salty Sow

📍 Address: 1917 Manor Rd, Austin

Stars: (4.5)

It's amazing I left this place and didn't try any pork products. You think with the name and all, I would have. But, no. But I did try the brussels sprouts leaves. And the truffle fries, with something gooey to dip them in. And the spinach-artichoke fondue and the bread that comes with it. And the fried chicken and amazing biscuit and the honey that they sat in. And I tried the Wallaw (okay, two of them), the Curly Tail and the Mr. something-or-other. And the pop corn pot de creme. But no pork products. How is that possible? But I don't regret that at all. I have to tell you. It was all fantastic. The server told me that the Wallow was great and she gave a great description of it--like a beer with texture. (I've never tried one of those beer-in-margarita things). She said it was a little boozy. Eh, whatever, I'll have one. ... okay, two. I can't even decide what my favorite bite was. They were all great. Wonderful. I was the only one to get a dessert. And rude me didn't even offer bites to others! But the popcorn stuff was great. You know, the perfect salty and sweet together. You know you love it. And, to top it off, the service was great. Met several different people / workers and they were all incredibly friendly. And helpful. And played along when we shared our bad first-date stories. I would sooo go back. In fact, I could go right this second. That's it. I'm going.
