Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q

📍 Address: 1238 Dekalb Ave NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4.5)

Came here right after getting some food at Heirloom Market- a second lunch with some more friends. Wife and I just shared the fried rib appetizer and the lopez. Folks, you CANNOT go wrong with those fried ribs....so perfect in texture and flavor. Just falls off the bone with a hearty bite. That dish gets a 5- as it's worth coming back just for those things. The Lopez was on point this time- seriously, a half order probably enough calories to last you through the whole day....(4) This spot is becoming a staple for me. About a month ago I took another visitor here and got a half rack of their baby back ribs- the flavor was a bit sweeter than I expected, but the meat was better than I've had before- not as dry/jerky-like. Bánh Mì Très Bon

📍 Address: 1840-4720 McClelland Road, Richmond

Stars: (4)

A bit overpriced and pretentious with presentation. The Bánh mi tasted good but not what I'm used to paying..unless you're a banh mi expert you won't notice a difference.

Franklin Barbecue

📍 Address: 900 E 11th St, Austin

Stars: (4.5)

The food is amazing but not worth the wait, I would recommend trying La Barbeque. If you are willing to brave the 3 hour wait bring a lawn chair and get there early around 8 am. I would also recommend a cooler with some drinks. Plenty of street parking

Punto Rojo

📍 Address: 16 Bennington St, East Boston

Stars: (4.5)

We went here after walking the freedom trail through Boston, so we had worked up a pretty good appetite. Portions we're large and the food was tasty. It was also authentic Colombian food. The service was also very good. Just a nice, quaint place to stop for a quick meal.

Screen Door

📍 Address: 2337 E Burnside St, Portland

OMG!!!!! This is one of the top 5 restaurants I've ever eaten at. Party of 5 so got to try many different things. The BEST was the Louisiana Red Sausage Po Boy breakfast sandwich in the world!!!! The chicken and waffles is amazing however do yourself a giant favor and upgrade GK the bacon praline waffle. The combination of this savory waffle, fresh fried chicken, candied praline bacon, syrup and the dense whipped cream is beyond words. That was the only empty plate at the table because the portions are huge but this is that good! The fried chicken is amazing - again best ever. So fresh and juicy. But that po boy.... ah! And our waitress Hannah was sooo friendly and helpful.
