My boyfriend made reservations for my birthday, and I have to say I couldn't be more impressed. The service was impeccable- They stamped a "happy birthday" on that day's menu that I could take home. We had this wonderfully sweet waitress that let us take our time and order one of two appetizers at a time as we talked and enjoyed the surroundings. The best that we tried was the octopus appetizer and the flake crudo. They brought us two desserts for my birthday even though I only ordered one. I'm a massive chocolate fan and my boyfriend loves strawberries and cheesecake. So fittingly, they bright out their chocolate chess pie and strawberry cheesecake. Even though we're lactose intolerant, we ate both decadent slices. Can't wait to go back!

Such a delightful and charming little Scandinavian cafe! Came as a result of a recommendation and so glad we did! 1. Expect a line/wait - We waited about 20-25 minutes for 2 @ 9AM on a Saturday, and had about 8 parties ahead of us. Not bad as we expected the wait. They have self-serve coffee while you wait but note that it's NOT FREE OF CHARGE as they will charge you for it (we didn't realize until we got the bill). 2. Menu/Food - Completely unfamiliar with Scandinavian food but enjoyed their menu complete with nordic names. We ordered the Lost Eggs (super creamy and filling), Swedish Meatballs (creamy sauce was oddly tangy which confused my taste buds) and Danish pancakes (made fresh but unremarkable + easily forgettable, comes with tasty sauces). Although the food was not mind blowing, all tasted very good, filling portions, and were beautifully plated. 3. Atmosphere - Broder is small and cozy which makes for a perfect brunch atmosphere, complete with the typical hustle + bustle of a small, open kitchen right by the bar. We were seated right in front of the kitchen and it was fun (and drool-inducing) watching the dishes made fresh right before our eyes.

The best soul food restaurant I've eaten at! Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked well! The pot liquor was interesting! I knew exactly what it was since my mom and grandmas and aunties are all from the South...so I grew up,knowing what it was but never having the experience of it being served at a restaurant! That was the fun part (especially for those. Who didn't know what it was! Ha ha). I don't want to belabor this review as I have no complaints whatsoever!!!!! Nor did my entire family of 5! The waitress staff were nice and accommodating. Services was great. We will definitely eat here again the next time we're in ATL!! So very glad we followed the recommendation of the guy we met at ATL airport. See for yourself (food pics below) ;-)

Cute and so historic! We came in around 3pm on a Friday. I had the chowder bowl and hubby some kind of fried shrimp. SO DELICIOUS. Chowder is out of this world - creamy, savoury and lots of yummy chunks of fish and potatoes. The warm corn bread served at the start was also amazing. Booths are very tight and slanted since this is such an old place. Worth a trip!!!

Very good ramen in general. There could be a wait but it's worth it. The pop up events they have featuring chefs from ramen restaurants in japan are awesome!

Crazy disorganized place. Fresh guacamole on the "clean" utensils. Cashier just shrugged her shoulders and said "ok". Place is so LOUD you have to shout your order to the line cook. Difficult to read the small print handwritten menu on chalkboard especially when you are getting bumped and pushed in the tiny space. Language barrier was also an issue as the entire staff struggled to communicate with English language speaking customers. Migraine sufferers beware...hot, crowded, noisy. Never again.
