South City Kitchen Midtown

📍 Address: 1144 Crescent Ave NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4.5)

The fried chicken is as good as everyone says it is. The pimento cheese and banana pudding rocked as well. The fried green tomatoes are kind of meh- I think the flying biscuit does the best ones in the city. Avoid the chicken and dumplings. Fun atmosphere, good food, and a decent wine list mean I'd go back, but not before trying some other joints around town.

China Star Chinese Restaurant

📍 Address: 2825 SE 122nd Ave, Portland

Stars: (4)

Best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to! They know my order by heart as well as my family members! Love that the husband instantly yells AMIGA! COMO ESTAS?! The moment I walk in. They seemed to have become quite the popular place over the last 6 months. Good for them! Also have video poker and a selection of a few beers.

House of Blues Restaurant & Bar

Tom is the BEST waiter we have ever had! He was attentive and sweet! My daughter was celebrating her 21st Birthday and he went out of his way to make it special. He made our night extra special! Definitely an asset to the team!

Pollo Bravo

📍 Address: 126 SW 2nd Ave, Ste 10, Portland

Stars: (4.5)

It took me a minute to realize this restaurant was in the market place. We went during their happy hour and got a quarter chicken each. It was great pricing and very filling. The server we had was great on telling us other places to try and gave us a ton of recommendations. This is a great stop to make.

This is solid pizza, take out or delivery unless you want to eat a slice on the sidewalk.

Screen Door

📍 Address: 2337 E Burnside St, Portland

Came here on a Friday morning and there was no wait! We got here around 8:30 and left around 9:30 and there was a wait already. Mom ordered the huevos rancheros and I ordered the chicken and waffles. It's just as good as what I remembered it!
