One of my favorite Mexican go to joints for a quick affordable lunch. Their happy hour is a good deal too with cheap drinks and some food deals. Only real complaint is that their seating can be a little weird, otherwise it would have been 5 star.

Food is good. Momos are decent and the brussels sprouts are definitely worth ordering. Portion sizes are average. Food is not quite Indian, not quite Nepali - fusion for sure but cant quite place where it stands. You wont be bowled over nor will you find it bad. Decent.

OMG. You can not find better brisket anywhere. It's worth standing in line for 2 hours. Even if you only have a less than 50% chance of getting what you came for. Everything I have tasted is awesome!!!
Screen Door

My romance with Screen Door has gone something like this: First visit (dinner): Amazing. Life-changing. In love. Dreaming of mac and cheese for days afterward. Counting the days until I can come back (and promising myself that I'll show more restraint in ordering dinner so I can order dessert afterward). Second visit (breakfast): Praline bacon? Yes, please. Oh, and the bananas foster french toast too. Totally enjoyable. Arrived right before opening and (miraculously) only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Third visit (dinner): Still great food, still great service, and I especially enjoyed the drink specials on this visit. But my enthusiasm is starting to wane. It's good, don't get me wrong... but the wait is often obscene, and the more things I order, the more convinced I become that the mac and cheese is the best thing on the menu. If I visit again, will this drop down to a three-star review? Only time will tell. For me, Screen Door is more about the novelty than anything else. There are lots of places that are less indulgent (i.e. more calorically reasonable), easier to get into, and equally delicious.
Wrights Gourmet Sandwich Shoppe

I had a pretty solid shrimp po-boy sandwich here, and my brother really enjoyed the summer salad. The reuben, however, left something to be desired. It was difficult to put our finger on what exactly was off about it, except maybe not enough cheese. The cakes looked excellent. I regret not trying them. Unfortunately the place was crowded while we were there and the acoustics are awful. The place was outrageously loud which made it difficult to hear one another talk, and after a lengthy car trip that day, it was the last thing we wanted. That said, there was lots of outdoor seating, and I imagine once the weather warms up, that will soften the noise problem. (At least outside if people are talking loudly it doesn't echo.)

This is a solid 4 star restaurant. We celebrated a birthday here and my husband, who is not easily impressed, was completely enamored. Before I forget, I must mention how great the waitstaff was. We decided to forgo the fettine but did get a few different options for the first course. The lobster hush puppies were hands down my favorite. My husband really enjoyed the ribs as well. We had the pasta dish for the second course and neither one of us cared for it. The noodles were somehow mushy and al dente at the same time and the flavors just weren't that great. The fried crawfish on top was excellent though. Next time I will skip the second course and load up on more first course goodies. Hubby had the beef tenderloin and I had the trout as our main course. Both were delicious and were large, satisfying portions. We also had the burnt carrot and they were so so good and probably my favorite thing all night. I feel a little silly saying that about carrots, but they were seriously amazing. We didn't have enough room for dessert but they did bring out a birthday card signed by the staff. My husband was touched by this and it was perfect for a man that doesn't really enjoy dessert.
