Masa

📍 Address: 439 Tremont St, Boston

Get the onion rings! Margaritas and ahi tuna were also great.

Tacodeli

📍 Address: 4200 N Lamar Blvd, Austin

Awesome breakfast tacos. I'm a salsa fanatic, and the Salsa Roja is perhaps my favorite in Austin. The North Lamar location is surprisingly kid friendly. I eat there every weekend with my kids (typically waiting until 8am when they open) and we always see other young families there. Migas, Jess, Popeye - you can't go wrong. Their eggs are awesome, I think they're from organic free range chickens.

Tia's Waterfront

📍 Address: 200 Atlantic Ave, Fl 1, Boston

I hate that I have to give this place 1 star by yelp default. The smell of axe/cologne/perfume from the patrons who obviously frequent this place is enough of a turn off to prevent anyone from entering. I came here with some friends for a birthday dinner and was NOT impressed. As many note below, $8 for a vodka tonic (a weak one at that) or a beer in a plastic cup is ridiculous...I didn't even look at the other cocktail specials since they started at $13. The menu was small and extremely predictable. I went with the fish and chips, figuring I couldn't go wrong, and I was sadly mistaken. Although the fish was tasty, the fries were soggy with grease, and the meal was no where near worth $20. The mandated $10 fee for anyone sitting is pathetic. The wait staff wasn't friendly, our waitress was a complete ditz (forgot to give out silverware) and took forever to get the bill and get change. NEVER. AGAIN! Save yourself a boatload of cash and go elsewhere!

Stubb's Bar-B-Q

📍 Address: 801 Red River St, Austin

In from out of town and this was one of two bbq places recommended. I was greeted promptly and and sat quickly. Food came out about as fast. Unfortunately this is where it went down hill. Mac and cheese was bland but it was the warmest thing on the plate. I do not think they were famous for dry and cold bbq. The positive was the service. My server was friendly and apologetic. She dealt with it immediately. She removed it from my bill which I did not ask her to do so I tipped her the cost. She was worth the disappointment. I do believe every restaurant cannot be great every night. I will try again based on service not food. Thank you

Pirates Dinner Adventure

📍 Address: 6400 Carrier Dr, Orlando

Stars: (3.5)

We decided to attend the show for our son who is almost 4 years old. I'd give the show about a 6/10 rating. The performers were good. However, the act itself was a bit corny. At least from an adult point of view, though our son seemed to love it and had a good time. What you should expect before you go. Parking: $5.00 per vehicle. Tickets: $66 adults, $40 ages 3-12The food: Kids get Macaroni and Cheese with 2 chicken tenders. Adults pick was either Chicken breast or beef with rice and vegetables. They allow u to upgrade to Salmon for about $8.00 and Filet Mignon for $18.Picture: When you enter the place they take a picture with u and your family. During the end of the show, a staff member will display the photo in front of you asking if you would like to purchase it for $30.00. They print the pictures out; if you do not buy them they just trash them. If I were them, I rather get something than nothing. I bet if they charged $10, more people would buy them.Pro's: I will start with saying the place is great for kids who are around 3-13. I would not recommend it for adults without kids. You will find it immature and boring. My almost 4 year old son loved it, so it was nice to see him smile and cheer for the pirates. The staff was friendly. The acrobatics/dancers were engaging with the crowd and kids.Con's: Issue 1: For $172 for 2 adults and 1 child, what quality do you expect? At least equivalent to a 3 star restaurant one should expect, that is fair, right? Dinner was equal to what is served inside a middle school cafeteria. The chicken was decent, rice was dry and the vegetables were bland. My sons Mac and Cheese was nasty. The noodles were overcooked and the cheese was appalling. The chicken tenders were a little bit better. Remember, for $172 the food could have been better. I forgot, the meal did start with a salad, which was iceberg lettuce, no mixed greens. After the entrée, people received ice cream and a chocolate brownie, which was ok, but nothing to brag about.Issue 2: How are you going to charge such crazy prices and then charge customers for parking? The parking attendant was hilarious; he said everyone gets mad at him, seeing no one is told in advance that they charge for parking, until they get there. The guy was super cool though.Issue 3: Pictures, this is more for management. I understand that some customers may like having a picture taken there. That is great and all, but $30? If customers could buy them at $10, they would still make a nice profit, seeing pictures are cheap to print (8x10 for under $1). As a business man, I rather make something, than nothing at all. Why not have 75% of your customers buy at $10, than only have 8% buy at $30? (just throwing numbers out there)Issue 4: I don't want to be constantly finding faults, yet when you work in the industry u have certain things u expect. The waiter who took care of the guests in the roll right next to us, he was not serving VIP, it was of customers who had the same tickets as us. He visited the table often, refilled waters, brought over a hot push cart of food to make sure everyone had enough food, and he even brought his section their food items quickly. Our server, visited 4 times during the show and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a takeout box. The 4th visit was when she dropped off a tray which asked for $5 tip for each adult and $3 per child. I strongly believe in leaving a tip, usually at least 20%, but if the service is above and beyond 25-50%. The waiter next to us deserved 25%, but our server, I would say not. She was very nice and professional, just slow. Conclusion: If you have children 3-12 they may find the show enjoyable. Singles or couples without children will probably be bored as the show is designed for children. If you have children less than 30 months, they will probably be scared of the gun shots and flashing lights. The parking issue needs to be taken care of; charging $5 for parking is just terrible, there website does not state they charge for PARKING. For the price of the show, the food is of awful value. I'd guess their kitchen cost of the chicken dinner is $3.50 a plate, if that. Expect to tip $5 cash per person. Expect to spend extra money if you rather have Filet Mignon (18) or Salmon (8). I believe I have those numbers right, but I could be a little wrong. Expect to spend $30 if you want a picture wearing a pirate hat with your family. Before you go, look for discount tickets. They are available at hotels and resorts. Do not buy tickets on-line and pay full price.

903 Mills Market

📍 Address: 903 S Mills Ave, Orlando

Stars: (4)

Grateful bread may be one of the best sandwiches around. They have a blue cheese stuffing that gives it a great flavor. There is not too much stuffing so you still taste the turkey. I recommend to order the tomazzo salad. It has great mozzarella cheese to tomato. It is such a great location. It looks like an old house. They have craft brew on tap and a lot of different bottles in the coolers. Great place to sit outside and enjoy your meal.
