Tasty Burger

📍 Address: 1301 Boylston St, Boston

Stars: (4)

My favorite place in Boston after 1am! Delicious onion rings, burgers, shakes and nitro nuggets. I will stumble from across town to this place for a late night meal. Worth it.

The Squealing Pig

📍 Address: 134 Smith St, Boston

Stars: (3.5)

This is where the pigs come home, honey. Grab some friends, seat yourself at one of the tables, and order up a drink from Jerry at the bar and you'll be all right. Hip music, small, cozy, yet still has a roomy feel to it, the fireplace adds a charm. Came here for a friend's 21st and I think it was okay. $8 for a shot of Hornits tequila, but the shots were bigger than your average 1.5oz glasses. The limes were tiny and I had to ask for salt. Long island iced tea for $12.50? It wasn't served in a highball but in a whisky glass, and in addition to the splash of coke was a splash of water... Large beer selection? Yes please. Rapscallion honey is mm mm good. The stouts for those coffee lovers out there, come and get 'em. Price for a beer, typical ~$7. Anyways, come here for the beer because you can't mess that up and for space to chill. Maybe I'll try the food some day if I'm in the area.

Casa De Las Empanadas

📍 Address: 1709 W Oak Ridge Rd, Orlando

The place was ok. Very nice workers and friendly. However, they staff was eating behind the counter and in the food serving area.

Hungry Betty's

📍 Address: 165 Pleasant St, Village Plaza, Marblehead

Stars: (3.5)

I am a local and was initally reluctant to go- thinking Hungry Bettys was a sports bar. Using a Groupon, my push to go, I was very surprised. Though the atmosphere seemed to be missing something the food was excellent. I tried the fried calamari and the tenderness of the squid and the fire of the sauce was an excellent combination. For an entree I went with a standard that makes them easy to judge against other favorite places of mine- steak tips. Well seasoned and cooked as I asked- high marks here too. I splurged on a special of the day dessert- Sticky Toffee Pundding- also a winner. So, as far as food goes this is a great place. It had a lot of locals posted at the bar and a Scrabble game was in play along with the Bruins....families at the tables with small kids....all around good neigborhood experience. I WILL RETURN!

Pirates Dinner Adventure

📍 Address: 6400 Carrier Dr, Orlando

Stars: (3.5)

A great adventure for the whole family. The show was amazing. The food could use an update and variety, but you should mainly go for the show. There's a nice pre show bar and shop area to get you started. We liked it a lot. The participation of the public is expected. Fairly priced, or you could try a group discount.

Jake's Famous Crawfish

📍 Address: 401 SW 12th Ave, Portland

Stars: (4)

Don't get the crawfish!!!!! While there may be "crawfish" in the name & a giant crawfish perched outside, you will be sad if you decide to order it. I am not a crawfish fan, but my brother-in-law had the plate and was surprised with the bland flavor aka, not spicy. The waitress was super polite and understanding informing our party that the crawfish really is not the best choice on the menu and offered to get the upset brother-in-law a different entree.HOWEVER, do go here! My plate was delicious- halibut stuffed with crab, shrimp, and brie cheese. It truly lives up to the restaurants proclaimed title as "one of the best seafood houses in the nation". I would recommend coming here for special occasions as the menu is on the high side, but it is definitely worth it!
