Your Pie

📍 Address: 275 Memorial Dr SE, Ste B1, Atlanta

This is a true neighborhood operation and they take care of their customers. I learned there was an issue with the parking deck that made it difficult for people, but everything is fixed now so check 'em out!

Nori Nori

📍 Address: 6690 Roswell Rd, Ste 2110, Sandy Springs

Came into Nori Nori for dinner last week and was totally impressed by the selection available! There is something for everyone, including those that are not sushi fans. The highlight for me in terms of sushi was the sashimi selection. I dont like to fill up on rice from rolls too quickly, so I appreciated getting to load up on fish before hitting the roll area. My favorite cooked item was the salmon neck. Yes, it might sound strange to some, but it was basically like the cheek of the salmon (aka...super flavorful and melt in your mouth). For dessert there is soft serve, pastries, and even a crepe station. The best part was the green tea soft serve! You cant find that just anywhere. After a couple of plates with friends we were stuffed and totally satisfied. It is worth the price considering the quality of food. I was full well into the next day!

Cask'n Flagon

📍 Address: 62 Brookline Ave, Boston

Place is a staple for Boston Red Sox fans on game day, pre game and post game..However, please be ready to wait VERY long periods of time for drinks if you are not seated at the bar. Also, be ready to wait an eternity for a table. If you plan far enough head, this is a great place for pre and post game drinks, and they do have decent food as well.My GF and I were here yesterday about 2 hours prior to the game, it was a cluster, well you know.. I was not surprised though, I know the deal going on here, no matter the time of the game, give yourself 3-3.5 hours if you want to enjoy your time here, we didn't allow that. The hostess stand was covered by four employees, and at that, they were clearly overwhelmed. We gave them a credit card in order to secure the "buzzer" to let you know when you table is ready (never heard of that before) but anyway.. Was a 45-50 minute wait which would be cutting it close to game time.. I tried to make my way to the bar, my GF went out on a recon mission to see if Game On or Beer Works had shorter wait times.. Took me about 15 minutes to get a beer, constantly being bumped and spilled on, it really was a mess.. My GF texted me that she found two bar seats at Game On, trying to get to the to get my card back, disaster! took me about 10 minutes to get to the stand, when I did get there the girls clearly had no idea what was going on.However, about 90 minutes AFTER the game we went back and it was pretty empty. We pulled right up to the bar, service was attentive and efficient. We ordered bones less barbecue tenders which were delicious.. Our beers were always full, excellent service. BUT, my girlfriend is looking over my shoulder and says.. " Don't those two people next to us have your credit card"? They DID! as well as our bill. Both of them were so intoxicated they did not even realize that it was both of our bills together and he almost took my card! We got the card back, we laughed about it, got the bartender who straightened it out but how do you manage that one? That could have been a huge disaster..I like the Cask, but again, at your own peril, make sure you leave enough time to be seated at the bar, this is on game days/nights, if not, you will not be writing good reviews.Below based on 5 starsSERVICE *** FOOD *** LOCATION **** ATMOSPHERE **** RESTROOMS ** OVERALL ***

Pok Pok

📍 Address: 3226 SE Division St, Portland

As part of our Portland vacation, we decided to try this place as it came so highly recommended by several people. Although, this was on the other side of town,I'm so glad we made the trek across the river. We came about an hour before it closed and the place was packed. Luckily, we were a party of two and were completely fine to sit at the bar. We talked to the bartender and he was extremely friendly and gave us great recommendations on their food. We ordered the Kai Yaang (charcoal roasted hen with lemongrass), Ike's Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings, and the Muu Paa Kham Waan (Boar collar meat served with chilled mustard greens). First off, Thai food is really flavorful. Second, most Thai dishes are spicy. Now, if you can't handle either, you really shouldn't be eating most of the things here. My favorite dish was definitely the Muu Paa Kham Waan. It was pretty darn spicy, but so good at the same time. I mean, they serve it with chilled mustard greens. That's how spicy it is. You need that iced veggie to calm your taste buds down. Their fish sauce wings came in a very close second. It's their most well known dish and there's definitely an explosion of spices in your mouth when eating this. I'd definitely recommend it. The Kai Yaang was definitely a much needed entree to give our taste buds a much needed break from the flavor. The Kai Yaang definitely had a more neutral taste to it and paired with the rice, it was a great meal. I'd definitely recommend anyone, tourist or native, to come here. This place seriously inspired us to visit Thailand, which we will actually be doing later this year. I can't wait for their LA location to open up.

Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya

📍 Address: 11830 NW Cedar Falls Dr, Ste 128, Portland

Nice staff. Love the complementary green tea. Ramen bowls were "okay." Fragrance was nice, but needed more levels of flavor - lacking complexity. ...perhaps a decent place for a takeout during cold season when you can't be bothered cooking.

Powell's City of Books

Yes the selection of books is good and its cool but I have encountered a lot of rude and snobby employees. Portland needs to calm down.
