If you like a buffet with a ton of options this is your place. We visited there on a busy Friday night but was able to get seating before the rush arrived. There is plenty of seating and the food options were endless. Once you are seated, the server takes your drink order and it's off to the races to serve yourself. I love seafood so I was very excited about the choices. The 3 stars is for the taste and temperature of the food. Most of the items I chose weren't warm at all. I don't know if the heat lamps were not functional or the food had been sitting out for awhile. Either way there wasn't a way to reheat the food. Also the layout of the food didn't make sense to me. Sushi on one end, hibachi another, and a mix of different foods throughout. As more people arrived it became difficult to navigate to the different food stations. I also noticed that some of the fish had bones and there should have been a sign warning you of this. My friend almost choked when eating a stuffed shrimp. Why are there bones in stuffed shrimp (clueless)? I checked the reviews beforehand but I wasn't prepared for the bill. I thought for my experience it wasn't worth it. I don't like buffets and I had a small plate of food that was picked over. I lost my appetite when the first bite I had wasn't warm. The best thing about this place was the crab legs. My friend ate enough crab legs for 5 however they made several trips since the station was bum rushed every time a new batch came out of the kitchen. Overall I think the 3 stars is warranted.

The food and service here are terrific! I've been here three times in the past three months. I ordered something different each visit and it was consistently delicious! Their complimentary, bottomless chips and salsa are great, too. The salsa has just a little kick to it, just enough that you need a drink--perfect! And you don't have to worry about running out of soda or water because they don't let your glass run empty. The service is efficient and friendly; the atmosphere is bright and fun. We first tried this place because of a Groupon. Now we drive about 20 minutes out of our way to come here. Highly recommend!

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Brisket and sides were just average. The pork ribs were pretty gross. I can usually tolerate strong gamey tastes, but the overwhelmingly porky taste of the ribs was sickening.

Island Creek Oyster Bar

📍 Address: 500 Commonwealth Ave, Boston

Had a friend visit from San Fran and we decided to go somewhere we both haven't been to in Boston. I suggested this place since it had so many great reviews and I heard great things about it. Upon entering, the decor is pretty cool. But my question is this...why do high-priced restaurants always dark?? I never understood that. Anyway, this place was dimly lit just like other fancy places. It was nicely put together but I'm no expert in interior designing. We decided to get oysters with two of each different kinds they had. It was fun trying each oyster and comparing the tastes. My favorite has to be...you guessed it, the island creek oyster. Overall, the oysters were fresh and great...all of them caught locally off MA. I thought that was pretty cool. For entree (yes, oysters were just appetizers), I got a scallop dish and it was pretty delicious. It was recommended to me by friends and what a good choice I made. Very tasteful and delicious. Overall, this place was super nice...but pricy. If you're a poor student, like I once was, I'd only go here if someone will pay for you. Other than that, I would go here for special occasions...even better for a date since the guy will pay.

WAVE Asian Bistro & Sushi

📍 Address: 301 N Baker St, Ste 106, Mount Dora

I just moved to Florida and I realized good sushi is so hard to come by. I've been to another spot downtown, which was amazing, but Wave caught my attention with the sushi donut! Tonight I finally was able to check it out and I was NOT disappointed. I obviously got the sushi donut, spicy tuna, and it was so delicious. It was fresh and SPICY! Not like the spicy tuna you get where it's mediocre spice... This was the real deal. I also had the kani and yellowtail sushi pieces. Bomb dot com. My friend tried the bento box, which she said was delicious as well! It was a serious amount of food! Of course we got dessert, the fried bananas. THIS IS A MUST. So crispy. Hot. Melty vanilla ice cream. Ahhhhh-mazing! Prices are high, but so is quality. I'll pay for that any day. But be prepared to spend a few more dollars than surrounding sushi spots. Parking was easy. The lot down in front had a few designated Wave spaces.
