Terrible terrible !! We came on 5/5, one of their biggest holiday , waiting an hr and half long , when foods came out it look like crab , my shrimp and steak fajita just 2 small shrimps and small cut steak , over cooked vegetables, nasty messy , will never come back here

Great service and great food! I had the Paella which was delicious. It had a tasty kick to it and the avocado had a nice cooling effect.

Maenam I absolutely love this restaurant. The food and fantastic service are the reason why they were one of Vancouver Magazine's best restaurants (for multiple years). If you can't decide, opt for the tasting menu. Food is delicious, flavourful and unexpected. The tastes and textures are truly delicious - so min creativity in what seems like simple dishes. I've been here many times and never had something I didn't like. And don't skip dessert - always refreshing and tasty even if you don't have a sweet tooth. What adds the icing is the service. Maenam never feels like it's lacking in staff. Water glasses are kept full, staff are friendly and helpful - it tops off your dining experience. Cannot recommend Maenam enough.

Such a fun dining experience for my birthday! Definitely make a reservation in advance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the ambiance is just fun. I recommend ordering 4-5 small plates to share, that way you can experience so many different meals and flavors. Bonus points for being so accommodating with allergies -- they have individual menus that are nut-free, sesame-free, dairy-free etc. which eases the process of ordering. Grilled duck Kebabs -- amazing! Duck was so tender and juicy and paired perfectly with the sweetness of the grilled pears. I wish there were more duck pieces on the kebab. Maybe next time i should get the full instead of the half! Lemongrass chicken wings -- another favorite. Crispy on the outside and tender chicken on the inside. The sauce has a bit of a kick to it but overall tasted great with the chicken. Very flavorful. Pan-roasted soy glazed salmon -- wow! Salmon skin was so crispy and salty and the fish was perfectly tender and flaky. I loved the rice and veggies the salmon came with, particularly the cucumbers. This was one of the heartier dishes. Miso-glazed carrots: makes for a nice side with any of the meat/fish dishes. Very interesting flavor with the miso glaze. Chocolate mousse with cocoa nibs was also delicious and a sweet end to a delicious, flavorful meal! A great place for special occasions.

What a great dining experience at Kyma. The new bartender had great recommendations and very innovative cocktails. The grilled octopus was best ever and the lamb chops were tasty. Nice atmosphere in the lounge. Highly recommend!!
