It has been years since I went to this Buffalo Wild Wings but this is where I found myself on Saturday to watch the late afternoon games and get something to eat. After going to the Ohio State game we were driving around in an Uber trying to find something different. BW's was not our first, second, third, or forth choice, they were the only one we could walk in and get a seat immediately. I am going to give this visit a strong three and I say that as someone that has given most locations a one or a two so I was happy with my food and the service. I go back to the Weck days on campus in the late 80's when I became addicted, loved them more than my mom in the 90's, had no issues and saw them as a girlfriend in the 00's, and has come to see them this decade as visiting my ex. I just have a hard time giving them a four or a five and will explain why. A positive and a negative, as stated we were able to get seated right away and that never use to be the case at BW's. One reason why may be that while the pictures on the wall have been rotated out to reflect the last two decades of Ohio Sports team accomplishments and stars, very little has changed at this location since they moved in. I say that as a long time customer of their first location in the Bethel Centre complex, they use to be where the Halftime Tavern is. I lived in Olentangy Commons and that part of Columbus for years. I made at least 600 trips here from the 90's to 2010, maybe five since. While this location is great for nostalgia, the lack of change was certainly noticed and may be one reason why we were able to get a seat right away. Our waitress was A plus; friendly, attentive, and always hustling. We got drinks fast, refills when needed (she was keeping tabs while waiting on others), and our table cleared fast when we finished a couple of orders. The food was fresh and the wait was not long. If someone reads this, please, please, please bring back the sriracha bbq sauce that your sauce labs did. That was my pay back for taking away my Weck and you changing your name and then you took the sriracha away and didn't give me back my Weck. I do think BW's has priced itself out of the value they use to have. I get paying more when it is a new place, busy, better food, more choices, and drinks; but when you are just maintaing the status quo and upping the ante I have a hard time with how much I use to love you. This location has made millions and millions over the years, give it the TLC and attention it deserves and it will give back to you twice over. I had a good experience this trip and will come back to this location again. BW's is what is, was what is was, and I look forward to seeing them being better than they are.

Popped in here on a Tuesday evening because the weekend crowd combined with a "no-reservations" policy makes the wait a nightmare on a Friday or Saturday night. Even on a Tuesday this place was at capacity. We didn't wait, but larger groups of 4 were. We sat in front of the kitchen and this place is really a machine when it comes to food production. The menu isn't hugely diverse, so the production line concept gets the food out fast, even on a busy night. I really loved seeing all the spices and lemon/lime juice that they seem to put on everything. The food here is really beautiful, yes, even a burger can be! It made me want to head to Ikea right away and get some white plates. I had a smoked caesar ($5) that was a perfect side to my Tuna Nicoise "burger of the day)". Great tuna and lots of interesting toppings made this a winner. Seared tuna with egg salad, bermuda onions and other random garden treats. It was good, though I'll have to try a burger next time. Luckily my companion got a bacon cheeseburger which I probably ate half of. Great stuff. This place deserves the hype, and based on how it's constantly busy others certainly agree. Do yourself a favor and try this place out during the week to see it you want to make the wait on a weekend night.

My second visit was a great experience! Ask for Johana M., she's an excellent waitress. I had the $5 michelada and the queso compuesto, with shredded chicken instead of beef. The salsa is fresh and delightfully chunky. I will be back soon to try the fish tacos.

Very classy BBQ and whisky spot in the middle of the Pearl. We both ordered the loaded baked potato which was DELICIOUS. Paired that with a side of collard greens ( out of this world!) and macaroni and cheese ( creamy with a side of yum! ) and washed everything back with an Old Fashioned made with a single barrel 10 year Russels. Our waiter/ bartender was very knowledgeable on whiskeys, bourbons, and had some very good suggestions for us. Our wait time was less than 20 minutes before our food arrived and our waiter continually checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It's been quite awhile since I've had good bbq but this is a place I definitely plan on visiting again for dinner or brunch.
