I have been here a few times. The place is great. Service and dishes are delish and fresh. I love the atmosphere over the water. I've had salads with grilled shrimp, avocado toast , shrimp cocktail . ahi tuna apps and fried calamari. Derby day and mothers day here were terrific .
Blue Star Donuts

I had heard the Portland legends about this place but it took me longer than I'd like to admit to enter its hallowed halls. Wow. Don't take as long as I did. These donuts are not your standard cloyingly sweet fare. The peanut butter and jelly donut was amazing even if the jelly was a tad spicy for my taste. But I'm a bit of a lightweight on spice so take that under advisement. The peanut butter donut itself was the perfect bite. Also take it from me, a sincere devotee of chocolate, don't miss out on anything with their chocolate ganache. It is heaven.

Best Indian in town! The dishes are so flavorful. Wait staff is very knowledgeable. The jalapeno cream cheese naan is a must. Mango cheesecake for dessert is lovely as well!

We each had a slice of pizza and then added pineapple for both of us. The menu looked great for calzone and custom pizza. The prices are very reasonable. This is an excellent location with outside tables. The gas station decor make for a unique restaurant.
Frontier Public House

I'm going to go there: BEST RESTAURANT IN VANCOUVER. I have trolled Vancouver for all of it's edible treasures (which, let's be honest, isn't that hard, being as there are relatively few), but while some may say Lapellah, Willem's or Beaches is where it's at (or Tommy's or Low Bar, the list goes on), none of these touch Frontier. Not only that, but after years of combing Portland proper for all of it's best drinks, the "bartender's whim" on the night we went, ranks in the top 5 drinks I've had in my life- heirloom tomato essence with a beautifully blended gin and other beauties- unstoppable! Flank steak with chimichurri for $7 might be the best steak for the value in the whole area, chicken and dumplings will make you cry with delight on a cold night... these guys nailed it! Well done!
The COOP: A Southern Affair
📍 Address: 610 W Morse Blvd, Winter Park

I had the chicken tinders and 2 fixens, that's what they call their sides. The creamed corn and mac & cheese was so good! My absolute favorite was the homemade banana pudding. I was also able to try the pimento grits which were also really good. The Coop definitely has some good southern food and the atmosphere is cool.
