Sr. Tequila Mexican Grill

📍 Address: 16745 Cagan Crossings Blvd, Clermont

Stars: (3.5)

Joe Pizza

📍 Address: 634 High St, West Medford

Stars: (3)

Really great pizza. The sauce and the bread are fantastic. Hell, the sauce is probably the best pizza sauce around. Ingredients are spot on, especially on the spinach and mushroom pizza, which is their best pie, after the cheese. Prices are a little more than the hole in the wall pizza places, but lower than the "boutique/ yuppy" pizza places. For what you get, its a great. This is become our default pizza place if I'm not getting delivery (I live beyond the delivery area). I tend to order a salad with my pizza and the salads are always fresh and the balsamic dressing is great. No experience with delivery, which most of the complaints seem to be.

Desta Ethiopian Kitchen

📍 Address: 3086 Briarcliff Rd NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4.5)

I thought Ethiopian was okay when I first tried it at some other restaurant around town, then I met Desta. This place takes Ethiopian cuisine to the next level. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. The servers were polite and helped guide us to the tradition dish that gave us a taste of all different aromas. Worth the wait and worth the drive from East Cobb. Check this place out,...my personal opinion is that the chicken is the best. Also they have ethnic beer, yummm!

Signal Station Pizza

📍 Address: 8302 N Lombard St, Portland

Stars: (4)

Signal station is great new york style pizza with friendly staff. The climate control and acoustics of the building are terrible, so it's best to go during outdoor seating weather, or when its cold enough to make sitting in an 80 degree building sound attractive.

Kyma

📍 Address: 3085 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta

Stars: (4)

Absolutely the best Buckhead Life Restaurant and definitely one of the best restaurants in town. My first visit was with a greek friend from NYC-- Kyma is where his family goes when they are visiting ATL, which gives it instant credibility IMO. He did the ordering for the table and everything was fabulous: fried cheese, lamb pie, cheese pie, grilled octopus (so good!), hummus and pita sampler platter, whole fish (we had 2 different kinds), and the fried donuts for dessert. Not a light meal, but so, so good. I took my family and ordered basically the same menu-- they were skeptical at first, but loved it!

Blue Star Donuts

📍 Address: 1155 SW Morrison St, Ste 102, Portland

Stars: (4)

Blue Star's motto is "Quality over Quantity". What a crock of slop! Give me quantity ANY DAY. Pro Tip: Alcohol and basil DO NOT BELONG ON DONUTS. How disgusting can you be?? The Creme Brulee Alcohol donut is the nastiest thing my mouth has ever encountered and to make matters worse, it cost $4. Seriously?? Luckily for me, a generous friend purchased it for me, but I'm still embarrassed to have supported such a pretentious operation.
