A Boston treasure. Dig the tiny men's room. Full bar, plus beer and wine, awesome. Bring cash if you don't like ATM fees. Half cheese, half shrimp scampi my way! I will be back!!

When there's a wait, you know the food's good! I've only been here twice, the last time being on Veterans Day earlier this month. I went for lunch, and the Autobahn buffet was only $10!!! I could've sworn the price was $20 when we went for lunch in March on a Tuesday, but I am not complaining! The buffet even at $20 is well worth the money! From the buffet, I ate sausage, macaroni and cheese, potato soup, red cabbage, green cabbage & corned beef, potato salad, sauerkraut, and goodness knows what else. The mac and cheese is SO creamy I went back for another helping. Awesomeness and deliciousness can't even begin to describe the food! The reason why I give four stars is because the German food here has robust flavors and has a little bit of kick compared to other German restaurants I've visited. I've eaten at many German restaurants whose food is very bland. Schmidt's is different than any other German establishments, and I will definitely be back!

Wow. Wow. Is this location even part of the brand? We went before a concert and every place in Kenmore was over an hour wait. I separated from the group to find anyplace to sit and eat. I strolled into Bertuccis and I'd say the place was dead. At least 10 tables open. However when I asked for a table for 6, the panic began. I followed the 'hostess' to 2 tables back to back that would work fine since they didn't have any tables for more than 4. I should have known by the fact that one of the two tables back to back was full of dirty dishes, almost as if every server for the last 2 hours put all their direct dishes on the table in the booth. Hilarious. Regardless, the hostess told me it would be cleaned in 5 minutes. I went outside grabbed the group and we went in and sat down. We sat for 10 minutes before the plump sweaty week old waiter came over and told us he'd be back in 1 minute. 10 minutes later he came over to sweat on us and ask us what we would like to drink. He first person ordered a beer and the response was...."oh, well, just so you know alcohol will take at least 15 minutes. The bar is really backed up" The restaurant was maybe half full. Maybe. We all chuckled and ordered. 15 minutes later, said we had no menus and he came over with 2 of the 6 drinks. When asked for a menu he responded with "oh yes, of course, let me get you menus and some rolls" (really, why would anyone go to Bertuccis these days other than the rolls). When we didn't see him for another 10 minutes I grabbed menus from the hostess stand myself and we all began looking. He finally came back with the remaining 4 drinks and said "be right back to take your order"...we never saw him again until we told someone else to get our bill. He shows up 5 minutes later and says "ok let me take your order"...no rolls, he never brought the full allotment of menus, 1 round and we were there for an hour. It was hands down the #1 worst experience in a restaurant I've ever had and I've had many. The fact is, this new to the game waiter needed help. He needed to ask for it and the "3 managers" on duty needed to help. Lol. It was an epic fail.

Bacon cheeseburger raw= best burger I've ever had. Seriously. Pros: -Delicious. Ass. Food. -Cute environment. -A teeny bit expensive for food, but definitely worth it for the quality. -Drinks are expensive, but fucking delicious and excellent. Cons: -It's confusing. -It is ALWAYS packed. -Parking is hit and miss. -Drinks are expensive, but fucking delicious and excellent. No worries, we'll be back a million times over. We're just going to come at off times so we can order quickly.

Vegan cupcakes? Had to give it a try..... I purchased a lemon cupcake, a snickerdoodle cookie and 2 mini gluten free coconut cupcakes. First of all the cupcakes are huge! This is not your regular size cupcake, it was a little smaller than those Costco size muffins and it weighed a ton! Luckily I had 3 others to share this delightful cupcake with. The lemon cupcake was excellent, who would have thought it was vegan? Moist, tangy lemon flavor and not too sweet. I especially liked the frosting. Not too sweet, had a nice lemon flavor and a gooey texture. The snickerdoodle cookie was good for a vegan cookie as you could not tell the difference. I should have known..... the mini gluten free cupcakes tasted like cardboard (the coconut frosting was good though). All in all, it was a good first experience. It was a little pricey I thought- my purchase came out to $10.05, but then again, you are paying for organic ingredients.

Definitely recommend! Hubby and I got the "Badass Bacon and Eggs" and it was delicious!! The bacon is smoked and super thick, eggs were perfectly cooked, hash brown casserole was great, and the toast was yummy! We saw a breakfast burrito come out that looked huge! Service was excellent as well. We came on a weekday so we didn't have to wait long for food at all.
